MOTHER OF PRIESTS
Mary, Mother of Our Lord JESUS CHRIST,
At the foot of His Cross you became the Mother of the Apostles and therefore also the Mother of all priests. Your servants are the Angels, and yoursons, the priests, who consecrate bread and wine, s the Lord once said, "Take...this is My Body, My Blood!" He did not have the earthly bread for us in mind when He taught us the Our Father: He desires to be our "daily BREAD" Himself!
Most faithful Mother, graciously preserve and cultivate your house, the Church, so that there be abundant vocations to the priesthood to provide for the "daily BREAD" of eternal life.
Mother of all priests, intercede also for those endangered and straying priests who no longer clearly see the path and the goal, and seek another direction according to their personal biases. No mother abandons her child when it is in danger. Oh that you, too, would send your holy Angles with such a sharp warning that they cannot fail to hear it.
MARY, Mother of Our Lord, offer to your Divine SON your hands, your heart and your tears as a ransom, and He will accept them all and grant the priests the true light, real strength and the lost joy.
